The Diversifying Scholarship Research Conference at the University of Virginia features research on topics of diversity, inequality, bias, and inclusivity. The event highlights research from undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty. The keynote speaker is Dr. Viji Sathy from UNC at Chapel Hill. Dr. Sathy's work focuses on inclusive teaching practices and increasing retention of underrepresented students in STEM education. The conference is free and open to the public.
