You are invited to join the Charlottesville Alliance for Black Male Achievement and Light House Studio as we premiere our second documentary "A Different Side...". Last year, a group of young Black men came together to showcase the achievements of older Black men in our community through their documentary "Changing The Narrative." This year, our documentary will highlight a different side to the story that is often told about young Black men in our community. The young filmmakers wanted to tell their story to police officers, teachers, school administrators, and anyone who may have a misperception of the young Black man in our society. They spent six weeks filming, editing, and producing this documentary. They even composed their own original score of music for the film. This is unprecedented given their age and experience.
