This year will be the 35th Annual Community Worship Service commemorating the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year's event will include Rev. Dr. Harry Blake of Shreveport, LA as the guest speaker. Dr. Blake was a co-worker of Dr. King including planning many of the civil rights protests and other events for Dr. King. He is the former pastor of the Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Blake is also soon to release a new book, Plantation, Protests, Pulpits: Lessons from the phases of my life. 

The celebration will also include the MLK Community Choir. Registration is open at mlkcommunitychoir@gmail.com.
