Virtual Event: Expert Chat, “Where Do We Go From Here? What Can Colleges and Universities Do to Improve Police-Community Relations?” with Brian Williams

Batten School Associate Professor of Public Policy Brian Williams will join us for next week’s installment of the Batten School Expert Chat Series, leading us in a discussion that addresses the question, “Where Do We Go From Here?” Professor Williams’ talk will specifically focus on the role of higher education in improving police-community relations. Professor Williams joined the Batten School after previous faculty appointments at Florida State University, Vanderbilt University and the University of Georgia. Well-known for his community engagement, Professor Williams’ research centers on issues related to demographic diversity, local law enforcement, and public governance, with special attention devoted to the co-production of public safety and public order.
