November 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

The School of Architecture invites prospective graduate students to our Inclusion and Equity Open House.  The event begins with a panel of cross-disciplinary faculty, presenting current work with community and social impacts.  Graduate Program information sessions, as well as student-led tours of the School follow, culminating in a reception/lunch hosted in the West Oval Room of the Rotunda, the heart of Thomas Jefferson’s Academical Village.

The reception, hosted by the school’s chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects, features the Mapping exhibition (based on the UVa Walking Tour for Enslaved African Americans, and an opportunity to see the Memorial to Enslaved Laborers designed by Howler + Yoon, fully opening to the public on January 2020.
