Emily Springston

The Associate Vice President provides leadership, support, and guidance to the programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives of the Office for Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights (EOCR), an office within UVA's Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The Associate Vice President coordinates all aspects related to the achievement of EOCR's mission, including ensuring equal access to employment and education; the prompt and equitable resolution of all reports of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; and effective educational training, outreach, and partnerships that support a learning, working, and living environment where all University community members can thrive.
