PADHR Student Module Resources

At UVA, we are dedicated to creating a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming living, learning, working, and program/activity environment for all faculty, staff, and students. Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation not only violate UVA policy and federal and state law but also contradict our deeply held values of diversity, inclusion, and respect.

Thank you for completing the online PADHR module. We have provided additional information below by topic. For more information about the discrimination, harassment, and retaliation policies and complaint procedures, please visit our webpage: https://eocr.virginia.edu/discrimination-and-harassment.

…OCR can investigate complaints that students were subjected to ethnic or ancestral slurs; harassed for how they look, dress, or speak in ways linked to ethnicity or ancestry (e.g. skin color, religious attire, language spoken); or stereotyped based on perceived shared ancestral or ethnic characteristics. Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh students are examples of individuals who may be discriminated against based on shared ancestry or ethnic characteristics.
