Emily Babb is the University's Assistant Vice President for Title IX Compliance and Title IX Coordinator. In this role, Ms. Babb  is responsible for overseeing implementation of the University's Policy on Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and Other Forms of Interpersonal Violence (the Title IX Policy) with respect to all University programs, services, and activities to ensure a hostile-free living, learning, and working environment. As part of this responsibility, she supervises the Title IX team and oversees the prompt and equitable resolution of all alternative and formal resolutions under the University's Title IX Policy. She also coordinates education and outreach to faculty, staff, and students to ensure University community members are aware of their rights, responsibilities, and resources with respect to the Title IX Policy and sexual and gender-based harassment and violence.

 The Deputy Title IX Coordinator supports the University's response to Title IX complaints consistent with its Policy on Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and Other Forms of Interpersonal Violence (the Title IX Policy) by investigating and/or supervising the investigation of complaints of sexual and gender-based harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, intimate partner violence, complicity, stalking, and retaliation. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that such investigations are conducted in a prompt, equitable, and trauma-informed manner. The Deputy Title IX Coordinator also assists the Title IX Coordinator with  education and outreach in this area and monitoring campus climate.

The Executive Assistant to the Assistant Vice President for Title IX Compliance/Title IX Coordinator is responsible for providing executive level administrative and operational support to the Title IX Office, including coordinating and implementing sensitive processes that support the mission of the Title IX team.
